Commonly used between men, to show anger at their current situation, and frequently brandished at the turned back of a boss or person who is not respected. The gesture is often used in conjunction with such phrases as: "swivel", "sit and twist" and "up yours". The Finger is also used frequently in jest between friends having a bit of banter. At Jangles, we have created a paperweight version for those of you who wish to use the Finger but maybe fear the repercussions, or who just can't be bothered to remove their hand from their keyboard! Each "Finger" has been handcrafted in Jangles Studio in Fife, Scotland by Robbie Campbell's small dedicated team of glassblowers handpicked from such institutions as Edinburgh Crystal, thus keeping alive these traditional skills in Scotland. It should be cared for by washing in warm soapy water. Not suitable for dishwashers.

Givin' Them The Finger!

"Givin' them the finger" is a worldwide gesture of disapprovement of anothers actions. Commonly used between men, to show anger at their current situation, and frequently brandished at the turned back of a boss or person who is not respected. The Finger is also used frequently in jest between friends having a bit of banter.

At Jangles, we have created a paperweight version for those of you who wish to use the Finger but maybe fear the repercussions, or who just can't be bothered to remove their hand from their keyboard!
