Swans - a Symbol of Love

Swans have, for centuries, been associated with lifelong relationships,as they pair for life and remain loyal and faithful to their partner. This has given them recognition worldwide as a symbol of love.

These large, elegant, graceful birds can be extremely gentle with people while accepting offerings of food, but they can also be as equally aggressive while defending their nest and young. They are so powerful that a beat of their wing can break a persons arm.

At Jangles, we have used centuries old skills and techniques to lovingly craft these beautiful birds for you. Using the fluidity of the molten glass to allow us to create the wonderful curves and lines which are naturally on display in the swans graceful, elegant posture. Each swan is created purely by hand in Jangles' glass studio in Fife, Scotland by Robbie Campbell's small dedicated team of skilled glassmakers, handpicked from such institutions as Edinburgh Crystal, thus keeping alive these traditional skills in Scotland.

Each swan is made from 24% lead crystal and should be cared for by gently washing in warm soapy water. Not suitable for dishwashers.

WARNING: When used with a candle, ensure the flame does not contact the glass. The neck of the swan may become hot. Handle with care
